DOCUMENTATION
How can I access my travel documentation?

Your documentation will be delivered to you via email, via CTT or in person at our premises, after confirmation and good payment of all values ​​associated with it.
 

Can anyone pick up my documentation?
Documentation may be collected by someone else. However, both the customer himself and the person collecting the documentation must have supporting documents in their possession. When you make a reservation you will receive a confirmation email, however, at the time of collection you will receive all accounting documents proving that reservation. The customer who picks up the documentation must be the holder of these e-mails and booking vouchers along with a valid ID.


I received my documentation, but it contains incorrect data, how should I proceed?
If you notice anomalies in your documentation you should contact us immediately so that we can check the situation.


If I need to contact 1970 Travel during my trip how should I proceed?
Your travel documentation will include all 1970 Travel contacts so you can contact us if you need to.


FLIGHTS
Fly in the same company.

Most bookings are cheaper if you use the same company for the entire trip, so booking more than one company makes the trip more expensive.
 

Buy round trip flights.
The cheapest fares are usually applicable for round trip flights.

 

Buy flights in advance.
Try to make your reservations with time. Not only does it allow you to book on the dates you want, but there are often deals for those who book in advance.
 

Compare fares from various airlines.
Sometimes a company advertises a certain price, but this price is often accompanied by other companies, so it is always worth checking other companies than the one in which the price was announced.

 

Avoid making changes to your flight.
Always be sure of the dates you travel. Prior to the issuance of your ticket, you may change the trip without penalty unless otherwise stated in the fare rules. But after ticketing, remember that most low-priced fares do not even allow for changes and those that do allow for high penalties.
 

Traveling with babies on your lap
If you travel with your baby on your lap you get an average discount of 90%. On the other hand, if the baby occupies a seat, you will only have a discount of 33 to 50%. Remember that at air level a baby is considered up to 2 years old exclusive. Please note that this information varies by airline. However, recent studies have shown that it is safer for babies to take a seat.

Can prices change?

The prices on this site were calculated based on the rates and exchange rates in force at the time. Any change in currency or fuel costs, port charges, airport, fuel as well as transportation costs of any kind may be subject to adjustment.
 

What are the rules for the transportation of liquids?
Only small quantities of liquids may be carried in your carry-on luggage. These liquids must be in individual packages with a maximum capacity of 100ml each. These packages shall be placed in a transparent, hermetically sealed plastic bag of a maximum capacity of one liter per passenger.


What are the rules at the airport right now?
In order to facilitate liquid detection you should:

  • Display all liquids carried at safety and x-ray check for verification.
  • Remove the jacket and / or overcoat. These will be checked separately as you go through the x-ray.
  • Remove laptops and other electrical devices from your carry-on luggage. These will be checked separately as you go through the x-ray.
  • The following are considered liquid:
    • Water and other beverages, soups and syrups
    • Creams, Lotions & Oils
    • Perfumes
    • Sprays
    • Gel including hair and shower gel
    • Pressurized packaging contents including shaving foam, other foams and deodorants
    • Pastes, including toothpaste
    • Solid Liquid Mixtures
    • Masks
    • Any other substances of similar consistency

 

What documentation do I need to travel?
Minors when traveling unaccompanied by their parents, or their representatives, must present authorization of the same or absent, which authorization needs notary recognition, mentioning the name and number of the respective identification document of the responsible for the minor during the trip. The person traveling must obtain the necessary documentation to carry out the trip, including a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of the visit of the last itinerary country, their visas when necessary and comply with the health formalities in force in countries to visit. Citizens of other countries should check their visa requirements at their consulates or embassies.

 

I will travel accompanied by a minor. What should I do?
National legislation, in particular Article 23 of DL 138/2006 of 26 July, stipulates that national minors, when unaccompanied by those exercising parental authority, can only leave national territory by displaying an authorization for this purpose. . In both cases, this authorization must be in a written document, dated and signed by the person exercising the legally certified parental authority, as well as conferring monitoring powers by duly identified third parties.
 

What health care should I consider?
Depending on destinations, you are advised to take medicines for possible pain or fever, allergies or insect bites, among others.
If you take a specific medicine, make sure that you take it in sufficient quantity as it may not be available at the place you are visiting. If you need to purchase it on the trip, take the prescription and the part of the package that identifies the active substance, to facilitate replacement when there is no brand you use. It is recommended to have a prescription from your doctor with legible handwriting to legally prove that you need the medicine.
 

Vaccines
They are necessary for some countries and the risk of infection is much higher in children and pregnant women. Vaccinations should be done some time in advance, as some require an initial dose followed by a booster. Some vaccines cannot be given at the same time as others.
